I like the idea of making the web site more accessible to teachers - accessible in terms of ease of payment via Pay Pal and ease of purchasing the study guide. The study guide has been particularly helpful to our students at Virginia. Online learning modules seems to be a good idea too - again focusing on what we can do to help PE and APE teachers do better o the test. Regarding increasing the fee, I would be OK with a slight increase - say a $50 increase - but I would not want to become so pricy that we turn off some potential CAPEs. Also, if finances are an issue, I wonder how beneficial it is to have a booth at AAHPERD? $2000 seems like a lot of money if it only generates a handful of people visiting the booth. If the booth is doing well, then certainly keep it. Finally, using a testing company is certainly worth exploring. Again, the goal should always be what can we do to help make APENS more accessible to PE and APE teachers.
